I enjoy documenting the special moments of everyday life. As a photojournalist, I am ready to photograph a wide range of topics in a wide variety of usually unpredictable and unexpected lighting situations and conditions, all in a compressed amount of time and with lots of improvisation.
My work - which sometimes includes writing - has appeared since 2004 in print throughout southern New Hampshire, the Merrimack Valley and North Shore/Cape Ann in Massachusetts, and occasionally in other publications around the country and regionally including in the Boston Globe, Nashua Telegraph, Lowell Sun, and Union Leader, where I now work part-time, New Hampshire Business Review, and additionally with New Hampshire Public Radio. From 2011 to the end of 2013, I was photo chief and photo director at the Gloucester Daily Times and its quarterly Cape Ann Magazine, both part of the Eagle-Tribune/North of Boston Media Group family of newspapers, where I worked as a photographer for nearly 10 years.
